Auditions will be at Reclamation Church, located at 901 Cross Bend Rd. in Plano, at the northwest corner of Alma and Cross Bend.

Brief Synopsis:
When Meredith’s husband Beau is tired of keeping up with their lawn, she decides to let it go wild with a natural garden, much to the chagrin of the neighborhood homeowner’s association. But when she becomes a spokesperson for the environmental group Green Future, the last thing she expects is for the FBI to take notice! A partnership with Theatre Network of Texas and their TNT POPS! New Play Project. Season bonus! (dramedy)

Meredith Stafford (F), white, Children’s Librarian - 40s to 50s
Beau Stafford (M), white, Confederate War re-enactor, restaurant franchise owner - 40s to 50s
Andy McBride (M), white, Beau’s brother & fellow Confederate War re-enactor, a pharmacist - 40s to 50s
Kizzy McBride (F), white, Andy’s wife, stylish hairdresser, neighborhood association president - 30s-40s
*Darlene (F), any race, best friend of Meredith, a paralegal - 40s to 50s
Alex Walker (F), Black, environmental activist - 30s
*FBI Agent Jackson (M), Black, stern by-the-book attitude - 40+
*FBI Agent Castillo (M), Hispanic, inexperienced - mid 20s
*Johnny Stafford (M), white, son of Meredith & Beau who died in Iraq at 20, seen only in flashbacks

* These actors will double as reporters.

- Rehearsals will be in Plano and will begin on or around August 17 – to be set based on theater schedule and conflicts of cast.

Going Wild is a season bonus to Rover’s 25th Anniversary Season, running for eight performances October 2-11 on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 and Saturdays at 3:00 and 8:00 pm, at the Cox Playhouse, 1517 H Avenue in historic downtown Plano.
