Rover
Welcomes
Steven Dietz
Rover Dramawerk's celebrates our first anniversary at the Cox
Building Playhouse, with the production of Private Eyes
by Steven Dietz, one of America's most widely-produced contemporary
playwrights. Since 1983, his twenty-plus plays have been seen
at over one hundred regional theatres in the United States, as
well as Off-Broadway. As part of Rover's celebration, Mr. Dietz
has made time in his busy schedule to join us. As part of The
Dallas Theatre League's Conversation With The Artist
program, Mr. Dietz will be hosted in a post-performance discussion
of his works following the Saturday January 27 matinee. The performance
begins at 2:00 p.m. and the discussion will follow.
Admittance
to the Conversation WIth The Artist is free to matinee
attendees, $15 for walk-up and $5 for Theatre League Members.
Theatre League Membership may also be purchased at the door.
The Cox Building Playhouse is located at 1517 H Avenue. Plano,
TX, between H and G just north of 15th, across the street from
Haggard Park (aka Plano ISD / Courtyard Theater building) downstairs.
An informal reception will be held after that evening's performance
to honor Mr. Dietz next door at the Courtyard Theatre, 1509 H
Ave. Plano, TX. (link
