In this four day camp, students learn the fundamentals of theatrical performance,
including creating a character, vocal performance, movement on stage, improvisation,
and more! This camp is designed to provide a solid theatrical introduction for
children, as well as challenge the more seasoned students. Each class member performs
a speaking role in a short play that is rehearsed over the course of the camp
and presented for an audience of family and friends at the end of the final day!
Each student should bring a sack lunch and drink each day, as well as a couple
of snacks. For children in Kindergarten through the 5th grade (students
should be able to read at a level appropriate to learning simple lines). Class

In addition to learning theatre fundamentals, this week-long camp places
an emphasis on character development and performance while exploring natural instincts,
objectives, and impulses. Campers will learn improvisation techniques and create
spontaneous characters and situations while learning to take risks, make bold
choices, and think on their feet. Teamwork and imagination are combined with direction
from the instructors to put on a play while learning about good diction, projection,
stage movement, and more! Each class member performs a speaking role in a short
play, as well as in several improvised skits written by the students themselves,
and presented for an audience of family and friends at the end of the final class!

to start? This two-week morning camp concentrates on all the basic aspects of
theatre. Students have the opportunity to refine their acting skills by exploring
projection, characters development, and working with a script. They will learn

vocal and movement exercises, memorization techniques, and more! Each class member
